Here's the deal. Deal with a WIKI.

Some might notice a link to Artist's Block's ComicGenesis Wiki-page. Feel free to go and add to it if you want :)

Other than that, here's what'll be happening:
This weekend there will be regular updates of comics. They'll just be one-shot gag-comics about nothing in particular. I won't be starting any new stories just yet.

Now, since I cannot update with art while I'm away on my holiday, I've decided to update with something else.
I've written a little story in three parts. Mostly about nothing, really, as you might expect. It's just a little chronical on what goes on in my mind at times.
Now, since this is only text, I can to a good deal more of it. Therefore, there will be triple updates, rather than just doubles.

There will be updates this weekend. That is, the 1st and 2nd of July.
After that there will be updates:
  • Monday the 10th of July
  • Wednesday the 12th of July
  • Friday the 14th of July, all in text.
And after that, once I'm home safe and sound, we'll be going back to our regular updating-schedule with art and comics.

(PS: Not being a total cheapskate, I did create a single image to accompany each page of text. This is a comic, after all ^_^)

Doneness! And a holiday.

And that's that for the story of the Boy Who Wanted To Be A Tree. I'll update his cast-page sometime soon.

Now, in ol' DK, as some of you may or may not know, it is now officially SUMMER HOLIDAY!
Yaay!

What does that mean? Well that means that for the next seven weeks, I'll be doing a whole lot of nothing :)
No school. No job. No obligations. A birthday. Then nothing.

Nothing nothing nothing!

And what does that mean to you? Well, it means I'll probably be on schedule more. And maybe - just maybe - I'll increase the update-frequency at times.

It also means that I'll be going to France for two weeks this monday. With my family, mind. Holiday-stuff.

And that means no updates for you.

No art updates, at least. Because I do have a certain... something in mind. But you'll have to wait and see what it is.
Why? Because I'm very very evil. Definitely not because I don't actually know what it is myself yet. Not at all. Nuh uh.

I'm hit!

EDIT:
Erk! Gzhk! Dammit!

I really ought to have remembered that there's not getting at my father's scanner if my father is not around to log into his computer and run the program >_<

The strip will be about 11 hours late. I'll scan, colour and upload once the night has passed.

Where the hell is that MEDIC?

------------------

We've got a man down! Man down!

I've been struck with minor artist's block. This weekend's updates may be a day late.

In other words, look for updates sunday and monday.

Now, MEDIC!

Incentiveness

I've made new incentives. The first one will be around saturday, and the next one next week :)

Vote to bring Artist's Block one step closer to total world-domination! (Somebody has to beat the ferrets to it, right?)

Ready, set, CAST!

I've made cast-pages. Oh yes, believe it! I've also improved on the archives, but I'll get back on that...
The main cast-page still needs some work (most notably: pictures!), but I'm happy with the content. Each character has a seperate page with (slightly long-winded) descriptions of the characters themselves.

Bear in mind, the cast-pages should be visited only if you really want to know something about the characters. There's lots of stuff there that's not been revealed in any story so far shown on the site, and might not be. Also, it's likely far from all of it that's of any interest to the casual reader.

It all stems from a belief I have that characters must not be shallow. I use shallow characters, true. Or use my characters in a shallow, comedic way with no real character-development, point or purpose.
But the characters are deep, believe you me, and there is lots and lots of stuff I could write about the nature of Philosophy, Jester, Music or Muse, and a lot I could tell you about where The Boy Who Wanted To Be A Tree really comes from.
I've limited myself, though, so that the pages are digestable. Go read if you care to know a little more about Jester, Philosophy or The Boy Who Wanted To Be A Tree :)

I've improved the archives in that I've added a navigation by storyline, rather than just the standard ComicGen-calendar-system that's pretty much useless anyway.
Go have a look! :)

Ai-ÿa!

UPDATE:
Ho-kay, the comic is uploaded as I write. And in colour, even.
I once again advise you all to guard yourselves as best you can. Consistiency from my side is another commonly accepted sign of the impending apocalypse.

CHRIST!? Friday already?

Oh dear, oh dear. I need to get comic'ing! O_O

T(h)om DeLay

There will be no update tomorrow (Saturday), as I am utterly and completely without a scanner. I can get at one Sunday, so expect updates then and on Monday.

Take note, go vote!

That you want meeeee, in D.C!

... Okay, so it's nothing quite so serious. Just vote-buttons. Yes, I'm joining a webcomic-listing.

Hey, all the cool comics are doing it! Can't stand in the way of progress, now can I?
