ComicGenesis is a jerk and I'm NOT talking to him!

Right, so ComicGenesis' FTP-servers seem to be down again, or at least inaccessible.

In other words, I have files I want to upload, but, whoop-dee-doo, I CAN'T.

At this point, I'm seriously considering moving the comic somewhere else. Either that, or putting them in blogs... >_>

But that's a rant for another day.

First of everything: the comic that didn't go up yesterday because ComicGenesis is currently behaving EXTREMELY erratically is at the BOTTOM of this post, because otherwise it'd have text on top of it...

Over the past month or so, ComicGenesis has had a LOT of downtime. Right now the websites are up, apparently, but it's impossible to access the FTP required for uploading anything, which is why the comic is here and not properly on the site.


It's very annoying. The past three days or so, there's been a MASSIVE pile-up of update-requests on the server - about 5000 at it's peak. That is to say, 5000 FTP-adresses have requested that their content (i.e. the comics) be uploaded to the internet, but ComicGenesis, for some reason or other, hasn't been able to process those requests. And so they piled up.

Bothersome.

Ah well. Bellyaching about it gets me nowhere.

On a lighter note, I've got a bit of buffer still left. There should be a comic tomorrow, too, if ComicGenesis decides to be good about it.
If not, well, it'll be here in the blog.

After all that Girls Only, though, I'm kinda starting to feel like updating Natural Gender again.

Say, it's awful quiet here, innit? There were supposed to be horns and crowds and shit. And fainting maidens, screaming in glee at the sight of my manliness crossing through the gates of Minas Tirith and sighing in jealousy as I wed my elvish bride.

Bah. I'll just have to make do without and do this stupid comic instead. Meh. Ingrates. I work my fingers to the bone and what do I get? Not even a bleedin' fanfare. Hah! Just you wait. One day I'll just up and stop doing comics, and how will you like THAT, eh? Bet you WON'T. That'll teach ya.

Well, at least, I've got a two-comic buffer all built up and an entirely new background added to my slowly growing stock of recyclable scenery. Vending machines for the win!

Anyways, to get relevant, yes, we're back, yes, we'll be back the whole summer because I will NOT be going travelling this year.

Okay, well, there IS that one-week artist's convention I'm attending. Nothing fancy, just a bunch of nerds hanging around in tents on a fields for a week and having an awesome time. But that's it!
I should be able to keep a steady rate of updates. Y'know, what with not having anything ELSE to do and all :)

So I'm optimistic! Hey, maybe I'll even update "Natural Gender". It's been a heck of a while since I last did that.

And I'm full of ideas for new stories... *ugh*
Gotta contain it. I won't EVER get anything done if I have twenty comics running all at once...
