Aaackk! Phthbthbbbththth!

UPDATE:
The comic has been further postponed 'till Monday. Now, I have the lineart done, just needs colour and assembly.

However, I also have a TON of homework to catch up on, though that's not why the comic is postponed. No, the comic is postponed because of my other major comic project right now: a project for Danish in which the final product of my group shall be a short comic describing our very own, self-invented fairy-tale.

I'll upload my pieces of the final product after it's all done and done, and maybe if I get permission show the parts the rest of my group has contributed (y'know, for contiunity and all).

But it needs work (it's due tomorrow, though we'll be asking for extension), so I can't work on the comic. So sorry, peeps. It's all gonna happen next week, I hope. We're nearing the very end of this story (next comic is the last one in this go), so I might upload it Friday or Saturday. It could be worth checking back for it.
Now, I must work. Then sleep. Then wake up and work more before going to school and saying we're not done yet. After that will be more work.

----------------------

Sorry about the comic. I'm blasted by a major artist's block (the mental state) and I've got two full-length papers to finish by tomorrow, plus, I spent most of today visiting my younger sister at her school and watching a pretty decent show they'd set up out there.

In other words: real life attacks.

Re-re-redesign and a question

ANOTHER UPDATE:
Tweaked around with the designs of most of the pages a bit after re-reading Joel Fagin's discussion on website-design. Added tables here and there, did some layouting. Take a look around the site again if you wanna see :)

--------------------

UPDATE:
Here's the question: Epic or episodic?
This is serious story-stuff I'm doing right now. Seriously serious.

Now, I wanna know, should I run this gauntlet to the end, finishing the story that is started in one go? Or should I seperate it into chapters, which are interrupted every once in a while by Random Comic Intermissions? Random Comic Intermissions would break up the seriousness of it all, and let y'all get to see Jester and the others again every once in a while.

In case you have some opinion on one way or the other, gimme a hint in the shoutbox on the main page.

As a bonus, here's an excerpt from the script as it looks now. You'll notice there are quite a few changes from the scripts to the finished comic:

"The Hunter still doesn't reply. He plunges the dagger into the chest of the Lord. The Lord doesn't scream. He doesn't even flinch.
The Hunter awaits the effect. He has to wait longer than he likes.
Eternity passes in a moment.
The Lord looks down at the dagger with a mildly amused expression. Blood flowing from the wound stains his shirt red.
"Unpleasant," says the Lord, unaffected. The dagger is still sticking out of his chest, "the old 'blessed wood will kill the fiend'-idea. The young will indeed be young."
There is a snapping sound and the Lord stands up. The necklace clatters to the ground, the pearls rolling uselessly everywhere, dislodged from the broken rope.
With an almost callous movement, the Lord removes the dagger from his chest. It drips with his blood.
The Hunter takes two disbelieving steps backwards. He is not supposed to be able to do that.
The Lord, momentarily occupied with glancing across the room, suddenly glances in the Hunter's direction, and then suddenly, he is behind the Hunter. A strong hand clamps down on the Hunter's shoulder.
A slow chill spreads in the Hunter's body. He is paralyzed.
"You're young," says the Lord, "and you're foolish. Blessed wood does not kill us. A priest's rosary does not bind us. Sunlight does not burn us. We can cross running water and hear sermons. We can touch the crucifix and bathe in blessed water.""

-----------------------------------

The third in a proud line of site-designs!

The main difference is that THIS one is pretty much almost all home-cooked. I borrowed a few lines of code here and there, but it's more self-designed than any of the previous versions :)

Now, the cast-page is updated heavily, the fanart is updated with a bunch of new pieces, including a couple of colourings of Philosophy that didn't make my contest way back in May this year.
Also, the blog now has a page all of it's own and the archives are up-to-date again.

*Phew*

I'm still wrangling a few bugs here and there in the code, but overall, I think it's gotten to be pretty cool. Take a look around and tell me what you think :)

Lackadaisycal

Mrrggh... I'm so far behind X_x

Not with the comic, mind. Oh no. There will be an update tomorrow, and I've got the lineart for Thursday done, only waiting to be "coloured".

No, what I'm far behind with is content. I need to update the cast-pages, I REALLY need to update the archives, I've gotten half a billion pieces of fanart (with more on the way) that need to be added to the fanart-section. Also, I need to re-design the site sometime soon. I'm thinking a kinda Vampirates-like front-page, and then a page on it's own to display the comic...

Well, I'll get to work on it.

In other news, I've obtained a new character for use in the comic :)
Yes, that is "obtained", because I can't hardly claim to have designed her all on my own.
There will be more news on that later. I'll let the forumites buzz about it 'till then.
Or, I would if I actually had a forum or - y'know - forumites.

... So yah. I'm too Lackadaisycal
